Opias Exchange
Peraton is hosting this forum for stakeholders of the Information Operations (IO) community to showcase and enhance awareness of OPIAS as an information-related capabilities (IRC) tool. This specific forum will focus on assessments and innovations in support of activities in the information environment, as informed by the JP 3.04 and lessons learned within the community of practice. A goal is to inform and enable the collaboration and coordination amongst participants on leveraging OPIAS to support information operations and messaging objectives.

Objectives
- Inform on OPIAS best practices and successes where employed as a means of information-related capabilities (IRC) to shape and affect the operational environment with insight into possibilities for enhanced coordination of all IO activities that contribute to future successes.
- Collaborate on opportunities where OPIAS can facilitate stakeholders’ requirements for research, target audience analysis, assessments, metric analysis (e.g. Measures of Performance and Effectiveness), content development and dissemination and IO planning and engaging local partners.
- Coordinate on next actions to enhance ongoing OPIAS efforts and or support emerging efforts with current and future OPIAS stakeholders.
Target Audiences: All DoD information environment professionals, Combatant Command J39 Division Chiefs and teams, Theatre Special Operations Command J39 representatives, Service IO proponents and commands, and representatives from the Global Engagement Center.
OPIAS Technical Exchange Benefits to the Government: Enhance IO stakeholders’ awareness of OPIAS as an IRC tool that supports information operations and messaging objectives that seek to inform and influence audiences. Assist participants understanding and applicability of the OPIAS technical solutions to address their respective environments and requirements. This deep dive will offer solution sets and stimulate thinking for the ongoing challenges faced in the messaging arena. Sets the conditions on the mechanics to assist stakeholders to leverage OPIAS to provide research, assessments, production, dissemination and IO/MISO expertise capabilities that enhance realization of messaging objectives across the information environment.
